Product Description:
TPA3255 is a high performance Class D power amplifier that delivers Class D efficiency and truly high-end sound quality. The device features an advanced integrated feedback design and a proprietary high-speed gate driver error correction feature (PurePath Ultra HD). This technology enables devices to maintain ultra-low distortion across the entire audio band while presenting perfect sound quality. Operating in AD mode, the device can drive up to one 600W/2R load at 10% THD and features a 2 VRMS analog input interface for seamless connection with high-performance Dacs such as TI's PCM5242. In addition to excellent audio performance, the TPA3255 offers both high power efficiency and ultra-low power level idle loss (under 2.5W). This can be achieved with an 85mR MOSFET and an optimized grid driver scheme. Compared with the traditional discrete implementation scheme, this scheme can significantly reduce idle loss.
