Diameter: 72 mmSkylight filters block UV rays, when taking pictures outdoors, reduce excessive blue cast and provide warmer colours. They are therefore very useful for landscape photography, where pictures of distant objects have excessive bluishness due to light refraction in the atmosphere. Moreover, outdoor portraits taken under a blue sky will reproduce the natural skin tone, without colour reflections. Multi-coated filters are provided with a multi-layer, anti-reflective coating, which results in sharper contrast and brilliant colours.
